Introduction
Imagine an ideal employee. What are the key characteristics you would look for in an ideal employee? These traits are essential for project managers and business analysts.
Project managers must be open to learning new technologies, and the professional skills needed to manage various roles and overcome key challenges in their projects. These projects often revolve around revenue generation funnels or business plans with monetary metrics and goals.
A business must conduct research to find better business models and optimize its business processes. Who is responsible for all of this? The Business Analyst.

Who is a Business Analyst, and what are their responsibilities?
A Business Analyst (BA) is generally a person who is responsible for exploring opportunities to bring money or business to any organization.
He is an integral part of the business operation. He is usually found at the top of the IT Services and Software Solutions organization hierarchy. He would be part the core team, which would also include the Project Manager and the Finance Manager. He acts as a liaison between them and the client.
Roles of a Business Analyst
As stated above, a Business analyst acts as a liaison between the core team members and clients. BA’s primary task is to communicate with all stakeholders and to find ways to bring business to the hiring company. He also helps to validate and verify changes to business processes, information systems, policies, and other aspects.
Business analysts are also responsible for analyzing the business operations of the organization by interpreting the processes and analyzing the data. Output rate, gains/losses and customer feedback. This would allow them to compile and create reports on the issues and drawbacks in the various departments of the hiring company. The reports help the project/product managers to initiate any corrective/preventive actions.
Other roles that BA could manage include:
Understanding the potential business opportunities
Analyzing the type and market prospects of a business
Designing new features for the business/product to increase its impact
Support the implementation of new features

A project manager is responsible for managing and delivering any project that has a defined scope, start date and end date. They also have responsibilities such as planning, execution and control.
PMI states that Project Managers are change agents. They make the project goals their own and use the skills and expertise of others to instill a sense shared purpose within the project team.

We all know that the project manager is the driving force behind a project within a hiring company. However, he also has many roles to play in completing the project. Below are some of the key roles that a project manager plays.
Successfully manage and deliver the assigned project in accordance with the project objectives
Plan project activity and resource allocation
To be the leader and motivate the project team
Project duration and control schedule estimates
Estimate the activity cost, determine the project cost, and control your budget
To make the project a success, engage and manage stakeholders
Manage project risks by analyzing, determining, and managing them
