VMware: 3 new free courses and 1 new on demand course
The VMware Education Services team launched four self-paced training courses last month. These courses are available for Horizon 7, vCloud air, and VMware User Environment Manager. Ask the Education Specialist in your area if you have any questions about the courses.
What are the VMware courses mentioned above?
Let’s look into the question.
vCloud Air Foundations
This free eLearning course will teach you the basics of vCloudAir and help you move or extend your existing data center to vCloudAir. This VMware training course will cover vCloudAir, the challenges associated with public cloud offerings, and general barriers to public cloud adoption. It also explains how vCloudAir can help overcome these barriers. The course then covers vCloud Air’s features, security and compliance standards, as well as networking concepts and services. Course participants will also be able recognize the various management tools one can use to manage the vCloud Air environment and the on-premises virtual infrastructure.
VMware Horizon 7 Fundamentals
A free VMware training course provides basic information about the VMware Horizons portfolio and the key features, benefits, and other useful information. It covers the components and architecture for Horizon 7, as well as the features of Horizon Agent, Horizon Client, and Horizon Desktop. You will also learn how to log in and navigate the functionality of Horizon Administrator.
VMware User Environment Manager Fundamentals [V9]
This free, 90-minute training course gives a quick overview of UEM, its components and features, as well as its benefits. The course also clarifies UEM installation and configuration and the features in the UEM Management console.
VMware Horizon 7: Configure, Install, Manage [V7.0] on Demand
