Identity cube…….> Real+ virtual identities= 360-degree overview of access+ compliance informationSailpoint……..> Two types of attributes…….>1. Identity level …..>2. Application-levelAttributes
SailPointIQ offers two types of generic attributes levels:
1. Identity level attribute: These are the types of attributes that are kept at the SailPoint level. These attributes have a global scope and are directly defined at the SailPoint Level.
2. Application-level attributes: All target applications of the application-level attribute are combined into one machine. This indicates that this application is the only one that everyone can access in SailPoint. This means that the application-level attribute’s scope is limited to the application.
You can view some generic level information such as user name, first name and email, manager, department, etc. in identity level attributes. You’ll also be able to see the application-level identities of all the target applications that have been integrated into a particular device. This tells you that this application is the only one that anyone in your organization can access. If John, an employee of your company, decides to leave, you don’t need to go through each application in order to track access. You already know the information about John’s account and whether access has been granted or denied to the target application.
