The AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate exam (SAA), was updated on August 30, 2022 with the new exam code SAA–C03. The updated exam opened for registration on July 26, 2022. On August 29, 2022, the last version of AWS SAA certification (SAA–C02) was discontinued.

AWS Solutions Architect Associate (SAA), old vs. newly created domains
The exam domains for SAA-C03 are nearly identical to the ones for the SAA C02 exam. Three of them have the same name as the other. Only Domain 3: Design Secure Applications & Architectures has been renamed to “Design Secure Architectures.” There have also been some changes in the weighting of exam domains.
